I was a highest level local guide. For years I unsuccessfully attempted to learn why I was removed? Google Maps requests reviews I have never been to or even been near. I was deleting all my photos and reviews and then blocked from even doing that. Google Maps seems to have difficulty in simple verifications.
On a large number of occasions I have offered up to date information and photographs and then told Google was unable to verify. Basic, simple information. An example was Sonora Quest having shut down the East Earl location in Scottsdale, AZ. Sonora is simple to contact. I sent photographs of numerous things showing they had vacated. Other reviewers spoke of this.
For years Google continued to list the East
Earl location. I went to city of Phoenix Parks. At a park desk I was told I was wrong on the number of pickle ball courts and number of tennis courts. There were two tennis courts and around a dozen pickle ball courts An clear signage. Google would not post my review. It could have assisted the park who could have made a simple response. There were a large number of corrections on what city parks actually had. At Williams in Mesa Az Google never, would correct the name of the park or what it had. I was highly impressed with the youth's behavior and demeanor in both the Skate Park and the regular park. I mentioned my appreciation to a person. His impression was based on an earlier time when his bike had been stolen. Google reviews are much more than creating revenue. They also can help with various cities missions. I visited hundreds of parks. One of the Phoenix a number of times. I observed that the homeless were the only visitors who I ever saw picking up trash.
